دانلود فیلم در ۴۵ثانیه / ثبت سرعت ۱.۹گیگابیت بر ثانیه روی 4G

سریع‌ترین سرعت دانلود روی شبکه 4G توسط اپراتور فنلاندی به ثبت رسید.
به گزارش خبرآنلاین، سرویس‌دهنده اینترنتی موبایل موسوم به Elisa توانست با استفاده از فناوری چینی هوآوی، سرعت دانلود روی 4G را به 1.9 گیگابیت بر ثانیه برساند.
این در حالی است که محققان دانشگاه Surry در انگلیس در فوریه امسال توانستند روی 5G سرعت دانلود 1 ترابیت بر ثانیه را به ثبت برسانند که 50 برابر سرعت نسل چهارمی است که اپراتور فنلاندی به ثبت رسانده است با این تفاوت که سرعت تست‌شده در انگلیس صرفاً مبنای اکادمیک داشته (غیر شبکه) و سرعت اپراتور فنلاندی ممکن است جنبه تجاری پیدا کند، هرچند این آزمایش نیز در محیط شبکه صورت گرفته است.
بنابراین کاربران قادرند از طریق نسل چهارم الیسا، یک فیلم بلو-ری را در 45 ثانیه دانلود کنند که این رکورد تاریخی روی موبایل محسوب می‌شود.
«وِلی-ماتی ماتیلا» مدیر اجرایی الیسا گفت در حال آزمایش روی 5G نیز هستند و به‌زودی نسل چهارم تست‌شده را راهی بازار می‌کنند.
الیسای فنلاند که می‌خواهد سرعت 1 گیگابیت بر ثانیه‌ای را تا سال 2018 در تمام کشور راه‌اندازی کند، تنها اپراتوری نیست که به‌سوی سرعت‌بالا گام برداشته است، بلکه وودافون در آلمان نیز روی 4G تا پایان 2016 سرعت 1 گیگابیت بر ثانیه را عرضه خواهد کرد.
«واقعیت مجازی»، فرمت 4K و فناوری‌های جدید سرعت بالاتر روی موبایل را بیش‌ازپیش لازم ساخته است.
